Welcome

This site was graphically created and coded by me ( Jacob Goetzinger ) without the use of templates or flash. I currently live in the Cedar Rapids IA area, and graduated about two years ago with two degrees in web technology.

This site was done for the senior designer down at GoDaddy (Own business is Bash Grafix). Mostly all the design work is his. My job was mostly to turn the Photoshop mocks into a working website; I do that by slicing up the mocks and hand coding a working website for the web. It utilizes HTML5 as well, and is done in such a way as to not break in an older browser. The upkeep for the site is being handled by another party, so this link here is to the original I now keep on my own server.

This site was designed and developed by me for a client. Mocks were made using Photoshop and Illustrator, got approved by client, then sliced and hand coded into a website. The site has very little information and text which was the clients wishes. It utilizes HTML5, and is done in such a way as to not break in an older browser.

This is the very first site I completed for a client. It was done a year before I even completed my degrees in web technology. I have grown much in the world of graphics/design/development since then. Updates since have added some better coding and a few improved graphics however.

The Capouch Woodworking website was designed and developed by me from the ground up without the use of templates or flash. Had a lot of fun designing this one with all its abstract like shapes. It utilizes HTML5 in such a way as to make it dependable in newer and older browsers alike.

This particular site is meant to be a landing page for an ad.. hence the term "Micro site", since it is only one page.

I did this one for ACT's Activity Magazine. I did the full design work and some development. After my 6 mounth contract concluded, it was taken over by a full time employee and changes have been made. Please see original mock here Original Mock. It is a Wordpress version so they could include comments, and hosts 5 articles that change out every so often. Click here to see pics of other design work I did for ACT.

I was in charge of the last web version of a full publication for ACT's Activity Magazine. I was given two weeks to take the plain black and white template they have used for years and put up about 20 new articles, and "do what I could for it to match the newer rebranded look" given my limited time frame. I did the design and development work for this. Click here to see pics of other design work I did for ACT.

This site was handed to me as a PSD from the senior designer at GoDaddy Jeff Bash (Bash Grafix). I did the full development of this site completely to the specifications of the PSD. Bulk of the content on this site can found on the music page.
